Geomatic Engineering

Preparing our students for the ever-widening reach of the profession requires that emphasis be placed first on the basics. Thus the first two years are intended to ground the student in Mathematics and the Sciences and the final two years apply these principles through various projects and courses. Courses from the faculty of Social Sciences like Communication skills equip our students to fit seamlessly into the working world.

The program runs for 8 semesters spread over a normal duration of four (4) years leading to a BSc degree in Geomatic Engineering. Our students undergo a minimum of fourteen (14) weeks of supervised industrial work experience by the end of the program. This is done during the vacations and is expected to give our students a feel of the industry. A minimum of 140 credit hours is required for the undergraduate program, which includes a final year project.
